Be Inspired By This Message From Joyce Meyer, “Give Your Pain To God”

Allow God to be the glory and lifter of your head (see Psalm 3:3). He wants to lift everything: your hopes, attitudes, moods, head, hands, heart — your entire life. Remember, even when life doesn’t go according to plan, He is good!

Healing comes when you get outside of yourself and help others. As long as you stay focused on your pain, what you lost, what didn’t work out, you’re going to get stuck. There’s a blessing in that pain. You are uniquely qualified. You now have something to give others. You can comfort those that are going through what you’ve been through.

God will take all of those fragmented pieces of your life and make something beautiful out of them and He will cause you, by His grace, to be able to use what’s been pain to you as a gain for somebody else.

God is greater than any obstacle you may be facing. Don’t assume that where you’ve been, or where you are, is as good as it gets. Don’t believe that your history is your destiny. Choose, instead, to believe God is going to do something even better in your life.

If your thoughts have become negative and you are full of doubt, it is because you have stopped hearing, receiving, and obeying God’s Word. As soon as you start believing God’s Word, your joy will return and you will be “at ease” again. And that place of rest in Him is where God wants you to be every day of your life.

God doesn’t want to just give you strength…He wants to be your strength. If you don’t do anything else, pray every day for God to fill you with the Holy Spirit. He gives us powerful gifts for us to step out and bring Him glory!

You may have given up, but God doesn’t give up. He is about to breathe new life into your dreams, into your health, into your relationships. You’re going to feel a stirring, a new passion, a new excitement. That’s God resurrecting what He has placed inside of you.
