Be Inspired By This Message From Joel Osteen, “Put God First”

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: In everything you do, put God first, and he will direct you and crown your efforts with success. Proverbs 3:6, TLB

TODAY’S WORD: A lot of people are good at taking care of the physical and emotional parts of their lives, but they don’t take care of the spiritual. There’s no or minimal connection to God.

When you’re in touch with your Creator, your life will be more satisfying. You were given life by him.

God is aware of your mission. He wants to give you a leg up on the competition. When you include Him in your life, His favor will carry you places that your gifts and abilities cannot.

Every day we have the choice to put God first in all that we do. Everything else in our lives falls into place when we put Him first. Spend time with Him in prayer and reading the Bible to start your day off right.

Make your spiritual life a priority. When you get up in the morning, take time to thank God for the day. Don’t run out of the house stressed out, in a hurry. Start the day off with a grateful attitude.

Read the Bible, think about God’s promises, and fill your mind with trust, hope, and victory. Put God first, and He will reward you for your efforts.

The scripture says, “When you seek God first, all these things will be added unto you.” God wants to not only meet your needs, He wants to give you the desires of your heart.

God knows what you’re going to need, when you’re going to need it, and how to get it to you. The problem you’re worried about, God has the answer already in route. The vindication, the healing, the breakthrough is already set up.

Proverbs 3 says that when we put God first, He will crown our efforts with success. God sees that you are trying. He sees you doing your best, and He is there to help you.

When we choose the Word of God, we choose strength, grace, peace, and victory. Put God first, meditate on His truth, and let Him empower you in every area of your life.

When you make God your number one priority and take time every day to seek Him, it pleases Him. Scripture says that when a man pleases God, He’ll make even his enemies be at peace with him. When you put God first, He will give you direction. When you bring Him the very best of your finances, He’ll open up the windows of heaven and pour out blessings you can’t even contain.

When you put God first in everything you do, you’ll be amazed at what happens in your life. When you show up for God, He’ll show out for you! Make spending time with God a priority and watch what He will do this week!

Prayer isn’t about getting God to do something for you. Prayer is about connecting and communicating with Him. It’s out of your relationship with Him that the blessings come. Put God first in everything and watch what He will do in your life!

PRAYER FOR TODAY: “Father, thank You that You invited me into a relationship with You. I want to put You first in whatever I do and have You steer my life. Thank you for using Your Word to speak to me. I am confident that You will be pleased with my efforts. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
